- When you start eating well and exercise at least an hour a day you'd be amazed how quick the pounds shed off.
- maybe you can do a protein diet and loose a good quantity of pounds for july
- That doesn't seem likely, sounds like way too much to lose. Don't push yourself with a goal of losing 70 or more because it will get the best of you and you'll find yourself in an unhealthy situation. If you are heavier and have a lot of weight to lose, you will see a ton of pounds come off still. Also try to incorporate other stuff instead of just biking, work other parts of your body, do strength training, and run occasionally.
- yes but it might be unhealthy depending on how fast you lose em
- Maybe not 70 pounds, but you'll definitely lose something if you are working out that much. Just make sure you are also eating enough though. You're body needs calories to support all that exercise. Good luck!!
- I'd recommend consulting a doctor about any diet/health plans. Losing weight too quickly can lead to a loss of the muscle tissue of vital organs, and things could get even worse if you don't have a complete and balanced diet.
- Its possible but not realistic. As a trainer i have helped people do this and even quicker. But you have to stay consistent with workouts (6 x week), eat very clean (NO cheats) and be very disciplined for the next 6 months. (eating good is 80% of your goals, so workouts alone will NOT help you lose weight) Im not saying you cant do it, but making this lifestyle change from most likely a sedatary lifestyle and not so good eating to strict and disciplined in a challenge. But if you stick with it and have the right tools it can be done. ive helped people lose 100 pounds in 8 months!! But again, these people dont play! - Not in a healthy way - If you want to keep the weight off!!! You shouldn't loose more than 2lbs a week. how tall are you?? I'm 5'8 and weigh 155 - sounds like a lot- but I have a four pack. It took me a year to loose 45lbs. And you shouldn't work out everyday - your muscles need a day to rest every once in a while or they will get used to the workout.
- I don't know.
- Sure you can! It might not be quite 70 pounds, but a lot. Just burn more calories than you consume. Drink lots of water! Drinking a lot of water is key to losing weight. Try to eat only around 1200-1550 calories a day. Eat healthy and make healthy decisions. Don't be tempted by junkfood! The small accomplishments you make will make you feel great about yourself...like, if you were going to go get a whole package of cookies or something, sit down and watch TV, but then you change your mind and have a piece of fruit instead...that would make you feel awesome. - THATS ABOUT 10LBS A MONTH MORE THAN 2LBS A WEEK SO CAN YOU DO IT? ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU TRY GOOD LUCK!
- THANK YOU for spelling "lose" correctly. You have no idea how much "loose" irks me. The key to losing weight is variation. The human body has a remarkable ability to adapt to stimulus put upon it. It doesn't take long before the body develops efficiency to a repeated exercise. This is known as the SAID principle, or Specific Adaptation to Imposed Demands. As long as your body can adapt and ultimately requires less oxygen to perform your stationary bike workout, you will burn less calories. Your progress will decline and you may get frustrated. Add resistance training, stretching, reactive training, core movements, and balance exercises to your workout. This is best accomplished at a gym, but you can buy home exercise equipment as well. Constantly keep your body guessing. Create a proprioceptively enriched environment (unstable but controlled) with stability ball or bosu ball exercises. Diet is huge. Remember that 3,500 calories equals one pound. Create a deficit in your diet. Count calories. Weigh food, at least for the first few weeks. Know your portions. Burn more than you consume. Only when that window is created can you truly burn calories and lose weight. See a nutritionist. Trying to lose 70 lbs in a 5 month time period is very challenging and you want to take the healthiest road possible (no crash diets). How much more can you lose? There is no formula. That depends on you.
