How to lose inches off my waist?

I am not overweight or near it but I do want to lose a couple inches off my waist so I can fit into my clothes and have them look better. What can I do? What exercises? I am currently in a weight training class so I get some exercise but no cardio... what would be some fun cardio to do inside at home? Any advice is well appreciated. Thanks!

  1. Find a good amount of push-ups and sit-ups you can do twice per day (for me it started at 10 push-ups, 20 sit-ups and increasing each by 10 per week, then 5 per week after 50 push-ups and 60 sit-ups). Also jogging, running, jumping-jacks are good for this as well.
  2. Probably the most fun and most utilitarian for social reasons would be dancing. You could practice latin dance, salsa, jazz, ballet, ballroom, belly, etc. If you can do this for an hour, it will improve your waist as well.
