How many miles would I have to jog to effectively lose pounds?

I wanted to lose all the fat on my hips(when i tighten my glutes they appear to be smaller so i know its fat -- not genetical), so I want to jog a certain amount of length so I can effectively lose weight. I go back to school on the 20th so I have about 10 days to come up with something.
