Lose pounds and inches

Is it possible for me to lose 50 pounds in 3 months without hurting my body?

I have already lost a lot of weight. I eat healthy and I don't eat after 5 in the afternoon. I also try to get about 2 hours of exerscise in a day and I exercise everyday, a hour in the morning before school and a hour of excersise after supper. The thing is that I know I can do it, I just don't want to hurt body. I currently weigh 175 pounds.

  1. Sure just start eating really healthy follow the food pyramid and dont exceed get plenty of excercise but dont over do on excercise work your way up
  2. only if you give birth. Or you can take a limb or two off. otherwise no. you can expect to lose 1/2 to 1 1/2 lbs a week of fat. any more and you're losing muscle and will likely gain it back. good luck
  3. Average weight loss is 2-3 pounds a week. Sometimes 5 pounds if you are lucky. Although, I did the Atkins diet and lost 20 pounds almost right away, but that is VERY unhealthy, and once off of it, I gained almost all of it right back. I highly recommend not only dieting, but joining a gym, or starting an exercise program. Good luck!!
  4. NO, it is not possible to lose 50 pounds in 3 monthes without hurting your body. You want to weigh 125 pounds. How tall are you and how old are you and how long have you been obese? Fast weight loss is never the answer. It is not permanent and the stress is bad for your body. What is wrong with the way you are doing it now? You have the rest of your life to get to the weight you think you should be so what is the rush? A healthy rate of loss is about a pound a week. At the end of a year you will have lost 52 pounds, established eating patterns that will keep you from gaining it back and none of your organs will be harmed. Ask yourself, how long did it take me to gain 50 pounds? There is no magic wand to take all that food off after you have eaten it. Worry about your overall health and don't set a timetable. If you eat healthy and move enough to burn off excess calories, you will reach you perfect weight and stay there. If you crash diet, the weight will come back. Sounds like you are doing it right. Don't hurry.
  5. I'm 13, and a guy. I weigh about 130 pounds. I lost 30 pounds in one year, and man it sucked. I gained it back. I'm very athletic and workout at a gym in the weight room 3 hours every day. I'm very strong. That's how I gained it. If you're serious about losing that weight in 3 months than you're probably going to die. It's impossible. If you try it you'll get very hurt. I hardly ate at all and exercised when I losed the weight. That although is just suicide for real. You'll lose the weight in probably a 1 1/2 years if not more. It will probably be all waterweight anyways. Nevermind the fact that you'll end up very weak.

Find out what your daily calorie requirment would be at the weight you want to be, then try to burn 500-600 cals a day to lose a pound, safely, in a week. To lose weight you must burn more calories than you consume above your daily requirment.
