  1. if u wanna lose 50 pounds by august, don't even think about a donut
  2. The only way to lost that much is through liposuction. It is not possible in that short amount of time, especially if your already thinking about eating donuts. A donut has about 10 grams of Trans fat and between 500-1000 calories; even half of one is horrible for you.
  3. i think it could be possible yes. but be careful. don't starve yourself to achieve this.
  4. yes you just have to put your mind to it
  5. I don't think many people are going to know how many calories are in half a donut... The best thing to do would to just not eat donuts period
  6. yes drink lots of water eat 3 small meals a day consisting of fruits and vegtables and and exersize most of the day try to stay moving
  7. It happend on the Biggest Loser show.
  8. I would try a liquid diet. That will take the weight off. I would forget about the donut. That is unless you want to try for 50lbs. in 6 months to a year.
  9. If you wanna lose 50 pnds in 2 and a half month you may wanna cross out all fast foods and any home made grease factors. But its possible because I lost 26 pnds in a month so GOOD LUCK!!
  10. i think a plain donut is 120 calories so half is 60~ it is not impossible to lose that much weight in that little time. I lost 30 pounds in about 5-6 weeks eating medifast (not selling this item YAHOO POLICE) it's expensive but it worked for me.
  11. stay away from donuts, period. the goal to weight loss is to eat less but the real trick is to eat less of low fat foods. i'm eating dry cereal (oat flakes or some stuff, not bad) and drinking water constantly. just fuel your body and take vitamins to supplement what you're missing but mix that in with some running and weight loss kicks in.
  12. You definitely could not lose 50 pounds in 2 months on a healthy diet and exercise program...and especially not eating even a crumb of a donut.
  13. In a word "no", you couldn't achieve a 5lb weight loss every week for 10 weeks. You may be able to do that in the first month but not for 10 weeks, it's humanly impossible (even if you lived on apples and water alone).
  14. The eight pounds was probably mostly water weight as exercise causes your body to excrete a lot of water. Keep you water intake to about a gallon a day. The more workouts you add will deplete minerals, and vital body enzymes and can actually cause you to stop losing weight, so keep it simple and do not add any more. There is about 300 calories in that half donut, but that is the least of your problem. You are looking for the impossible, there is no way to lose 50lbs that quickly. It takes most of my clients at least 5-6 months to accomplish that. I'm not trying to be negative, but realistically, you may be able to lose 30 if your nutritional plan and exercise plan is proper. Consult a professional if you are really ready to do it. Most people starve themselves thinking that it will make them lose weight, your body produces hormones that prevent this as you go into a starvation mode. Your hormone levels drop, your energy level drops and your progress stops. Al http://phoenixbodystyling.blogspot.com/
  15. Losing that much weight in that amount of time is dangerous. try for 50lbs in about double that time. And stay away from donuts! Too much sugar! Try fruits and meats in small portions throughout the day. I know one guy who lost 30 pounds in about 4 months--he ran about 10 miles a day and he looks great now.
  16. too soon...you need 5 months to safely lose that much fat...sorry dear...
  17. it is possible to loose that much weight, its not very healthy and you will need to cut out a lot of food that isnt good for you. you need to burn way more calorie than you are taking in.you basically need to be loosing a pound a day. give or take a few days. that means you need to burn 3,500 more calories than you are taking in. try cutting out all sugary foods. dont eat any bread. try thesouth beach diet, it helped me. after i lost the initial weight i allowed myself to put a little back on and now i just eat healthy foods and exercise regually. keep up w/e u did the first week. check out this blog it might have some tips for you http://dietersdreamworld.blogspot.com/
  18. i believe anythings possible. my friend lost only 25 pounds within a year, but that's because she has school, and shes still growing, so she was losing and gaining weight at the same time. all she did was eat healthy food (she was on weight watchers) ran with her dog every day and this sounds stupid, but she got a wii fit and took a body test everyday, she did the small exercises and then it would tell her weight that shes lost sense the last time she weighed in. it kept a chart of her data and shes lost a lot of weight and looks a lot better. im not saying you should spend 100 dollars on a wii fit. but heres an idea. keep a chart like in your bathroom above your scale and weigh yourself every morning after or before you eat your healthy breakfast. mark the weight on your chart. also this works too. cut out skinny celebrities and put them on your fridge so whenever you just want to eat cuz you think your hungry you will look at them and decide to go on a run instead. also you keep a scale nearby in your kitchen so whenever you walk in there you can step on the scale and decide weather youll have some ice cream or a salad. also belemia and anerexia is not the answer. throwing up makes your teeth bad and your hair nasty. go to somewhere like trader joes and get all the healthy stuff you can get, make sure you watch the calories on the stuff your buying. good luck and i hope i helped. i dont think you can lose 50 pounds in that amount of time, its not healthy, if you lowered your goal to maybe 25 pounds im sure it would be just as good. good luckk.
  19. My first question back to you is do you want to lose 50 actual pounds due to health reasons or do you want to lose size? It is very possible to lose body weight as I lost 45 pounds in 2 months last summer using mostly Medifast foods with added vegetables and fruit. It depends on your age, your metabolism (inherited and generated), your genetics and your weight to start. The more overweight you are for your height/build the quicker you will lose weight. The more muscle mass you have also the quicker you will lose (which is why men often lose much more than women on diets their first 2 months ;-). If you feel you have 50 pounds to lose (or if your doctor recommends it), adding workouts or more cardio will not help (sorry). You may actually GAIN weight (on the scale) from increasing your resistance workouts and this includes body weight as resistance. A half a cake donut with frosting is about 150 calories. Trust me, it is not worth it. None of those processed, sweet snacks are good for you. You are better off using that 150 cals on a whole grain cereal or even on one of the newer Special K cereals with added goodles like chocolate. Once you wean yourself off the donuts/cakes you will lose your desire to eat them. Best Wishes, Lia
  20. possible, yes but highly unlikely for the novice or even highly experienced dieter. that's an average of 6.5 lbs a week. weight loss on the scale slows to a crawl after the first 10 days of dieting after all muscle glycogen stores in the body are depleted. after that weight loss will slow to several lbs a week. rapid weight loss is also how lose/sagging skin occurs which then creates another problem not so easily fixed with out big $.
  21. I don't think that you should try to loose 50 pounds in that short of a time. I mean it is a really good thing that you are trying to get healthy and all that jazz but as you start loosing weight and start getting back into shape, you are going to find it harder to loose the weight that you have left. Just remember to be safe whatever you do!
  22. The healthy recommendation is 2 lbs a week ~ so no you really need 6 months to lose 50 lbs. The early loss will not continue Too many calories in a half a donut ~ don't eat it !!! Donuts should be a NO-NO food while on this diet.
  23. If you're trying to lose weight a donut is not the way to go. You should try cutting back as many carbs as you can. no soda or sugar filled juices. Eat lots of green and colorful vegetables and meat portions that are only the size of your hand. I lost 40lbs. just by doing this and going for daily long walks. I also made sure that part of my walks were going up hill. I really didn't like working out so much so I used walking. While you walk you should try to tighten your stomach muscles this helps tone up your belly as well. I don't think it's possible to lose 50lbs. in two months but you will lose weight. Quite a bit if you stick to these things.
