How Can My Wife Lose 50 Pounds in 5 Months?

My wife wants to lose 50 pounds in 5 months. She keeps trying to stop eating junk food and ice cream at night but she can't. Instead she just sits down watches TV with ice cream, tea, popcorn, potato chips and so much more almost every night! My wife 5'2".

  2. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that she doesn't feel the same way you do about her weight! Back off and when she gets sick and tired of her results she will be ready to do what is necessary which is to back away from the table!!!!!! Good luck!

  4. I'm not sure if it's possible to do that in a healthy way, but if she is serious about it she could try alternating in between a liqiud diet and a all fruit and veggie (raw) diet. I'm not sure how much she would lose, but I know when my mother in law did it she lost about 35 pounds in 2 1/2 months. But to do a diet like this you have to be in good health to begin with, plus it might help if she becomes more active. Also, let her know it's not healthy to eat after a certain time at night., experts say it should be 3 hours since your last meal and when you go to bed.
  5. the easiest way to not eat junk food, is to not buy it. NO one, can have junk food at arms reach, and not eat it, its just too hard. leave it at the supermarket, and the next time she gets a craving, it won't be there for her to grab. and 50 lbs in 5 months is too much. at most, she should strive for 1-2 lbs per week, thats the healthy way to do it.

  8. Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. Brisk walking is great for burning body fats. It is my lifestyle now.
