What is the quickest way to lose 50 pounds in 5 weeks?

I weigh 174 pounds and I'm only 12! I need to know how to lose 50 before August 20 because that's when I go back to school. I do go to the gym, but I only lose like 20 every 2 weeks. Is there a quicker way to lose 50 pounds?

  2. seriously.... are you kidding me?!?... dude... you want to lose 50 pounds in only 5 weeks? uhm, I'm pertty sure that's not healthy to loose THAT much weight in such a small time period. To loose weight fast and healthily eat a balanced diet, and excersize daily... cut out junk food.... don;t establish yourself an eating dissorder (they aren't fun or even healthy) good luck otherwise...

  5. There is no way to lose 50 pounds in five weeks. A healthy diet regimen consist of maybe 1-2 pounds a week. To lose weight eat a healthy diet consisting of 1200-1400 calories. Eat lots of healthy foods, such as chicken breast, turkey, egg whites, fish, fruits and vegetables. Whole grains are also good. For bread choose Whole Wheat. Cut all all junk foods and soda! Replace every drink with water. Drink plenty also, this keeps you hydrated! As for exercise take on some cardio. Running, biking, swimming, and jogging are examples of cardio. For toning, do sit ups, crunches, leg lifts, push ups, and stretches. Also remember that muscle weighs more than fat. So at first you will be gaining, but in muscle. Good luck! and remember that weight loss this way is more healthy.
  6. continue on your exercise and watch when and what you eat. Don't overexercise and enjoy life. You're young and at the age where the pounds will melt off. I should be doing what you are doing...20lbs every 2 weeks?
