How can lose 40 pounds in less than 2 months?
I'm 13, I'm 5 feet tall, I weigh 148 pounds!!! I hate it!!! I have two chins, huge legs, and I have a giant gut. I want to try out for that Kid-Nation show, but they said you have to be in excellent shape. I have a year for that, but I would like to be in shape for school. Any ideas?

- u can't lose 40lbs in 2 months that's not good at all start eating healthy and exercise...your young go to the park play sports...join a tem volleyball help me a lot and it's fun... walk everyday at the park
- Yeah, go with a lot of aerobics, and some weightlifting. I am on a high protein diet. It is a bit expensive because your buying protein shake mix and bars. Also getting a lot of red meat. I have lost about 35 pounds in the last 5 or 6 weeks. Thats also going to the gym four or five times a week.
- You shouldn't be losing more than 1 to 2 pounds a week to truly be healthy. Making little changes in your life will help you change long term. Exercise a little more each day, eat a little healthier, etc. but don't crash diet. Crash diets usually end up backfiring and you'll end up weighing more. Most important- you want to be healthy and be proud of yourself, regardless of the superficial.
