How can I lose 40 pounds in 5 months or less?

I'm trying to lose my pregnancy weight. (I just had a baby almost 3 months ago) Any exercise or food tips? Please help.

  2. try running first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, this way your body burns fat as it has no food (fuel) to burn for energy, hope this helps
  3. Well you'll need to loose 8 lbs per month. So...2 lbs a week. Not so bad. If you can, join a gym. Eat a well balanced diet of 6 small meals a day so keep your metabolism going. Make sure you eat 1200 cals a day. You dont want less 'cuz then you'll be hungry. Exercise 5 times a week for at least an hour. Do a mix of cardio and weight training. You have to be focused and dedicated, but it is possible!♥ Good luck....... edit: water, water, water...how could I forget?
  4. best thing... just workout... and watch your food intake... try getting your cal intake to about 1600 and drink a lot of water...
  5. First, Walk. You don't need to do just running. running and walking don't burn the same amount of fat because walking burns more lbs because you always have more energy to walk for 1 hour than run for 1 hour, but walking is easier and funner. Second, eat healthy. dont go buying all the diet meals cuz they're just Bullsh!t. If you eat healthy and in moderation, you will lose enough wait, and Third, don't be a suckup to advertisements that feature weight loss. If you do these three things, you will lose tons and tons of weight.
  6. you need to cut down on your calorie intake and eat small meals throughout the day. but you cannot skip breakfast because if you do it could actually slow down your metabolism which is the opposite of what you want. the best foods for you to eat will probably be the foods known as negative calorie foods which include many vegetables which include celery, carrots and many other healthy foods. you also need to exercise at least 3 times a week for at least 30 min of intense exercise. this includes running or swimming or any other intense exercise. lastly you need to stick to whatever you choose for a longer period of time so that the weight that you lose will stay off. hope this helps
