How can I lose 40 pounds in 3 weeks??

How can I lose 40 pounds in 3 weeks??? I am 12 170lbs and 5'7". I know it is not impossible to lose that weight. NO I DO NOT need to see a doctor, I dont want to talk to my parents about it, I want to do it for me and my family I want to do it so I feel good. I want to be able to go to school and say hey I lost all of this weight I feel so much better. I want to be able to run so much longer and faster. I sprained my ankle in Gym and lost 11 pounds in 1 week on CRUTCHES. 1 WEEK. I know that you will say "you didnt gain it all in 3 weeks" well I could and I probably did. I weighed myself at 130 1 day and 150 came around in another week and it just escalated from there. I see kids 5'9" 5"10 and they weigh less than me. Please help me. I have school from 7:00am and get home at 2:40 and Tuesdays and Thursdays I have Football practice from 6-8. One more thing all of my food gos to my thighs so if i cound lose like 5-10 inches I will most likely of lost all of my weight.

  1. You can't. That's no where near enough time to lose 40 pounds, aside from very risky (and expensive) surgeries to physically suck out the fat. It also sounds like you've really answered your question already, too..... you state a couple of the best answers (the ones you say you "don't want to hear"). Really, to a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing. As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight... not that you "should be X pounds", but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more. Football (practice and playing) is a really good way to get good exercise to help you lose weight, too.
  2. that's about 13 pounds a week, it's healthy to lose 1-2 pounds a week. Eat right, if your parents feed you junk, tell them you want to eat healthier. And exercise. you'll be fine.
  3. There's no way, but try going on the Special K diet. It's a quick fix and you'll gain it all back. Or just eat lettuce only with no dressing for the next 3 weeks (4-5 heads a day).

  5. I have been heavy all my life with is about 6 times longer than you. 1. Start eating slower. Do that tonight! 2. To start dieting, change the food you eat slowly. Start drinking water instead of Coke and that included Diet Coke. 3. Then in a few days, stop the cookies and cakes and start on fruits and vegetables. 4. Then a week later, at the dinner table, leave some meat on your plate and ask for more vegetables. 5. For breakfast, have a hard boiled egg or 1 cup raisin bran with skim milk. Do this slowly not all in one day! Change your diet over a week or two. After you made these changes, the weight will start to come off. The trick is to be consistant and stick to the new way of eating. Good luck!
  6. it is almost imposible to lost 25 percent of your weight in 3 weeks. if you want to do it, here is hwa i would do. I would go to sleep right after football practice so you could get up early. When you get up early you could burn fat off easier instead of working out late and burning off the calories that you just ate. So in order to achieve your goal i would recomend waking up 3am and running from 330 till 630 everyday. you should be able to run somewhere between 15 and 30 miles within that span daily. that would be the only way that i could see you losing so much weight so quick.
