- i you go on a really good diet and work out a lot u should be able to lose the weight!
- Absolutely. I just lost 45 pounds since jan 1st (new years goal). Go on the low-carb diet. drink lots of water. NO breads, pastas, potatoes and things like that. just check the carbs on the back of something before you buy it. try to keep your carb intake to below 30g / day. Eat lots of chicken and salmon. lots of veggies and fruits. Get exercise (although i didn't exercise at all to lose my weight). NO junk food. No pop. Limit your sugar intake. Go to allrecipes.com. they have a low-carb menu. I make stuff all the time from that site and they have lots of stuff that really tastes good. email me if you need more help. You will find that you will lose lots of weight very quickly at the beginning and it will get less and less as time goes on.
- ok ill be a little more detailed, i lost over 50 lbs in 3 months when i was in highschool i was 17 turning 18 when i did, though i didnt do that an extremely healthy way, i did take diet suppliments and i was on the football team working out everyday except sunday. but recently i lost 30lbs in about a month or so just by changing my diet so im sure if you add in a good amount of exercise you can do it to. first cut back on your servings of starchy carbs i.e. pastas, white breads, potatos, flour tortillas, and white rice. if you cant completely cut it out just cut the servings in half, that should do. second eat more salads. subsitute whatever you eat for lunch with a good salad with light dressing. and third. eat something light every 3 hours. if possible. ill give you my example. i wake up at 5am everyday. i have a slimfast breakfast bar and a glass of milk. at 8am a fruitcup or slimfast snack bar, at 11am my lunch usually a salad with turkey or ham diced for a topping. at 2pm another light snack again watching the carb intake all day. 5pm dinner, but dont stuff yourself just enough to get full and feel satisfied. and then at 8pm a light snack again, then bed, continue that with good exercise on a regular basis and you'll be gold in 5 months. Good Luck.
- Yes, The realistic amount you can lose is 2 pounds a weeks that is the healthily way. Stay AWAY FORM ANY DIET PILLS! They are a waste of money and time. They can cause more health problems, Walk more, go bike riding, go bowling, do actives that you would have fun doing,,
- I would say that at your young age it is an achievable goal. You would have an average 8 pounds to loose/month, however, you should expect to loose more at the beginning of the diet than later on, as your metabolism decreases with your weight. At the moment, your basic metabolic rate is about 1750Kcal/day, therefore, you should limit your diet to 1200-1400Kcal/day to loose the amount of weight needed. Your BMI is about 30.1, if you reach 160lb, this would take the BMI down to 24.3, which is within a healthy range. You should try a low-fat, low-carbohydrates diet, with 3 meals a day plus snacks of fruits or low-fat yogurt. I would favorise white lean meat (poultry, veal, lean pork, fish) to red meat, as it has a lower content of cholesterol. Vegetables are normally OK, but mind the seasoning. I found one teaspoonful of olive oil mixed with balsamic vinegar very tasty and would only give you about 40Kcal. Fruits are also generally fine, but beware that some of them have a high content of sugar, which can increase your GI and your appetite, too. A small banana or a small apple are maybe the best options. What I would recommend is a sort of dissociated diet, where you have more carbohydrates at lunch and more proteins at dinner time. Dissociating will help digestion and it will make it easier for the body to get rid of the extra "glucose". You will also have to associate exercise to your diet: 3-times/week of 45-90min of cardio exercise (such as low speed running, swimming, gym etc), so that your metabolic rate stays high. Otherwise you risk piling the weight straight up when you stop the diet. A part from that, just use your common sense and good luck!
- no if you are normal then hell no lol its not gonna happen no matter what your will or medication
