- Weight Wacthers most definitly i lost 5 pounds in 4 days
- EXCERSISE!!!!!!! ALOT ALOT ALOT WALK RUN JUMP ROPE JOG CLIMB STAIRS
- go work out, or go and jog
- You're not going to be able to lose 40 pounds in that short amount of time. You should only lose 1-2 pounds per week. Talk to your doctor. He or she will put you on the right track.
- Try Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Curves, and places like that. If you watch the TYRA BANKS show, she had a contest of different diets and who which team could loose the most weight.
- weight watchers, best choice....easiest....so you wont break it.
- That's a big goal. In addition to increasing your physical activity rate (probably best wtih a physical trainer), there is the ubiquitous "watching what you eat" aspect of weight loss. I have a friend who has found success at shedding many pounds (I'd say, 20 - 30 pounds) with a points system -- similar to Weight Watchers. I think that he was a WW member and then he just started counting his own points. You can totally do it! Increase your exercise and watch what you eat. Good luck!
- Well I suggest you improve you're diet. Eat when you're hungry, and eat healthy. Lol. Don't kill yourself though take one day out of the week and treat yourself..this way you don't feel tied down. Walking is great! Cardio makes you lose the fat, not sit ups and weights...so walk an extra half hour a day for the next week then increase it by 10-15 minutes. Splenda and diet soda make great supplements to! good luck!
- try to do a rough average of yoru current caloric intake, current excercise and current sugar intake. Increase excercise and depending on the other two you my want to reduce the calories (not alot) and the sugar. Cut out all high fat foods (chips, fries, burgers, ect), sodas and juces(get your vitimins from eating your fruit and vegies). I am dating a guy who has dropped a conciderable amount of weight doing just this (he started his diet in early Feb). it does work.
- Increase your exercise. Reduce your food portions. Reduce the amount of fat you are eating by reading the labels on foods and choosing foods low in fat.
- EXERCISE!!! IS THE MOST IMPORTANT cardio in particular maybe about 30 min every otherday or just do the most you can do...then make sure you have a good diet...eat fruit but not to many because of the natural sugars. eat meat like chicken, shrimp, and turkey. NO RED MEAT!!....DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!...eat vegetables. ----------OR---------- you can join weight watchers my mom and dad are doing it and they have both lost 12 lbs so far! its pretty easy to follow you just have to get use to keeping track of all the "points". but it is very effective! you can eat anything you just have to calcualte the points (teaches you moderation)
- it's safe to lose about 6 lbs per month but really no more ... that means 30 lbs. Step 1: Porportions The Average American eats twice as much as they should. And we tend to really go overboard on carbs. I would say don't cut your carbs completely. Just don't have Mashed potatoes, bread and Pasta in the same meal Step 2: Metabolism Boost your metabolism. To do this, wake up an hour earlier than usual and go to the gym for a 30 minute work out. OR power walk for 30 minutes in the morning. The better exercise is stuff that really gets your heart pumping and of course outdoor exercise is great for many reasons too. Step 3: Dump your Toxins Stop buying stuff with High Fructose Corn Syrup. Stop buying things that have shelf lives of 150 years. If it doesn't rot, don't put it in your stomach. Preservatives slow down your metabolism and many are being suspected as carcinogens (cancer-forming agents). Shop the perimeter of the store (vegies, fruits, meats, poultry, fish, dairy, juices). When you buy your juices, make sure they're real juice and not artificially flavored. Make sure no high fructose corn syrup is added. And the best place you can buy your groceries is at organic stores (whole foods, trader joe's, etc.)
- Proper diet and exercise can aid in weight loss, as well as keep you healthy. We know you've heard that before--the challenge is to follow through. Others have lost weight by following these simple guidelines, and so can you. Instructions STEP 1: Set small, realistic goals. If you have a lot of weight to lose, try for 5 pounds, relax a bit and then go for 5 more. STEP 2: Start a regular exercise program and stick with it. Don't be afraid of those sweat suits and Lycra pants! STEP 3: Sneak in extra exercise in addition to your regular program. Park at the far end of the parking lot and walk; take the stairs instead of the elevator. STEP 4: Eat low-fat, high-fiber foods such as salads and vegetable pastas. STEP 5: Choose foods that you like. Learn to prepare healthful, low-calorie foods that taste good by checking healthy cook books for new recipes. Eating well doesn't have to mean eating dull. STEP 6: Eat smaller, more frequent meals. This way, your body starts to increase its metabolism so that calories are burned faster. Also, mini-meals can prevent overeating. STEP 7: Plan ahead. Keep the fridge stocked with healthful food and you'll be less likely to run out for high-calorie, high-fat junk food. STEP 8: Keep a food diary. This will help you pinpoint where you can improve your diet. STEP 9: Once you discover your favorite snack time, be sure to have plenty of healthful options available. Tips & Warnings Lose weight with a friend, or join a support group. Avoid those vending machines by carrying around your own healthful foods and leaving pocket change at home. Try oatmeal instead of cornflakes for breakfast--eating oatmeal can help reduce cholesterol levels, and its high fiber content will keep you full longer. Choose an exercise program that you enjoy, and don't shun the unconventional. For instance, did you know that regular vigorous dancing is exercise too? Lose weight gradually--you are more apt to keep it off. A safe amount is 1 to 1 1/2 pounds per week. Consult a doctor to find an exercise program that is best for you. Crash diets can help you lose weight quickly, but most people gain the weight back. Some of these diets are also unhealthy and dangerous. If you choose to go with a specific diet plan, choose one that is medically credible. If you have any questions or concerns, contact a physician or other health care professional before engaging in any activity related to health and diet. This information is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment. GOOD LUCK!!
- Hello, Join a gym. buy a small calorie counter, carry it with you ( to lose weight limit your caloric intake to 1,200 to 1,500 calories per day.) You can learn to estimate your caloric intake by memorizing the number of calories in foods that you typically eat. Talk to your doctor before starting a diet plan. Add some cardiovascular activities to your routine so that your workout is well balanced. Activities include; dancing, jogging, jumping rope, swimming, playing soccer, and riding a bike. If you are not seeing the results you want, adding a cardiovascular activity to your routine should give you a boost. Talk to your doctor about a workout that's right for you.
- There are no magic tricks to it, obviously. Eat often, eat small, eat basically fruits and vegetables, drink lots of water, and go for a one hour walk every day. You will not only lose it but you will not gain it back if you keep the routine.
