how do i lose 40 pounds in 2 months?
Im going to high school in the fall and I want a new image I weigh 200 pounds now and I want to lose 40 pounds any tips?

- You don't. That's too great a number to expect in that time frame. You can still make a big improvement, though. Shoot for 20-25 lbs by then, and lose the rest more gradually. Eat a good, balanced, healthy diet. Go by the food pyramid, and try to keep it around 1600-1800 calories per day. At your age, you shouldn't go less than that. Drink at least 8-10 cups of water per day, and stop drinking soda, if you do. Exercise every day. Make sure you do at least 30-60 minutes of cardio daily. This means you can run/jog, bike, power walk, swim, use a rower or elliptical or stairstepper, do jumping jacks, play basketball or racketball, etc. Any activity that gets your heartrate up higher, around 120-160 beats per minute, and keeps it there, will do it. Do some weight training as well, probably every other day. More muscle means more calories burned, and it will also help you tone up as you lose weight. - i dont think it's healthy to lose that much in such a short time, but if you want to try. cut out all the bad stuff. pop, fast food, junk food, etc. also get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day. drink at least 8 glasses of water per day, too. then just eat smaller meals. make sure to have plently of protein. don't give in to every craving, even tho it's really hard. drink water before every meal to help you feel more full and eat slowly cause it takes the stomach like 20 minutes to realize there's food it in. try to stay away from foods very high in fat and carbs. but moderation is really key. good luck!
- i Am going in to high school to but last year i lost 15-20 pounds in one month i cut out all pop i drank none--so i drank splenda tea and sugar free lemonade--very cheap at walmart and you can get generic splenda i also rode my bike about 30 minuets a day not at once but through out the day i also ran up and down the 10 stairs for about ten minuets day and i didn't go over 2000 calories a day try to stay in 1700-2000 CL. and you should loose wight if you stick to this oh yeah dont espect to loose it all at once you should wiegh you self once a week naked after you use the rest room after you wake up that is your weight you should loos 3-6 pounds a week but sometimes less or more dont freak out stick to it HOPE YOU DO...GOOD LUCK!!!
