  1. omg i am going into 7th 2!
  2. Eat less, exercise more. Please don't try to lose more than 5lbs a week, you will get sick.
  3. You can eat low calorie food or diet and exercise
  4. work out
  5. exercise
  6. at your age the fastest safest way is to play more bball and do more walking and running if you exercise enough it will just melt off at your age later in life it wont be so easy
  7. You should be able to get real help with a good physician. Go see your pediatrician for referrals. Your parents should help you at this point when you are enthusiastic. Wonderful that you do want to lose the extra but, please follow your doctor's advise!
  8. Excersize a lot, jog everyday or play some sports. Cut calories, eat less (don't become anorexic). Don't eat fatty foods and don't give into fast foods or sweets. :]
  9. Eat a balanced meal with lots of protein, veggies and go low on the fruits. Do lots of exercise and don't be sneaking anything processed or chocolate stuff in.
  10. The only way to lose 40 pounds that fast is if you have a leg removed. You need to lose weight slowly. Only eat ONE helping of food and only eat sweets once a week. Youll lose it.
  11. dude, that is not healthy for your age. The only advice i can give you is run, run, run. Do NOT drink soda (AT ALL), dont eat candy, eat vegetables, and R-U-N. That is absolutely the FASTEST way to lose weight...no question about it my man. By the way you're absolutely correct. There isnt an ice cube's chance in hell that you'll be able to lose 40lbs in a month. It'll probably take you at LEAST 4-6 months to lose those kind of pounds.
  12. Eliminate certain classes of foods and replace them with other foods. For most Americans on any kind of a budget, this will require cooking. You're going to need the cooperation and help of your mom, or whoever is in charge of shopping and cooking in your home. Do not eat: Dairy products, except skimmed products. Hard margarine and hardened fats, including Crisco. . Sugar and syrup in all forms. Check all labels. If the food contains any sugar or syrup don't eat it. If you have these foods in your house, throw them out or donate them to a food pantry. Fried foods, with exceptions below. White potatoes. White rice. White flour. This means no bread, crackers, cookies or cake of any kind. This includes "whole wheat" and "whole grain" bread, because these contain white flour. Replace these foods with: Olive oil and fish fat, especially the fat of tuna, mackerel, herring and salmon. Whole grains, including moderate servings of brown rice and oatmeal. Fruit in all forms. Vegetables in all forms, especially green, leafy vegetables. Skimmed milk. Egg whites and two or three egg yolks per week. Beans. Herbs. Spices. Include, in small moderate servings: Egg yolk Lean chicken and turkey, all skin and fat removed. Red meat--two to four small servings per month; no more. Eat three times a day, slowly, until you are full. Get about thirty percent protein. Drink eight glasses of water per day and most nights, get eight hours of sleep. Both are necessary to maintain a healthy metabolism. Exercise: You must get more than "a decent amount" of exercise. The human body did not evolve by sitting in a chair all day; our ancestors regularly walked 12 miles per day. You need to do at least one hour of vigorous exercise per day. If you do these things, I guarantee you'll have a beautiful body in a matter of months--definitely by next spring. In just one month, you will feel and look much better--so much better that your classmates will notice, and respect your efforts. By the way, this routine will reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. Bon apetit, and good luck!
  13. work out, exercise, work out, exercise, eat fruit and vegtables, work out
  14. lol youre going to hate this but do some cross country, 5 miles a day, i was about the same as you going into freshman year and lost 20 pounds in the first 2-3weeks but you have to follow through and do not walk AT ALL cause that doesnt burn as much fat.....
  15. Try swimming. I lost 4 lbs last week for swimming 2 hours every day.
  16. Lose the weight over the next six months. If you lose weight too fast, there is a good chance that you will gain it all back plus even more.
  17. Drink lots of water and lose more calories than you take in, but you're still growing, so I wouldn't recommend losing alot of weight.
  18. You're overweight and want to know what to eat. Haven't you already eaten enough? You're carrying around the weight of a kindergartener in blubber, isn't that enough? Are you packing all that reserve food because you're afraid you won't be able to find a candy bar machine someday? You play basketball, aren't you afraid you'll get mistaken for the basketball? Stop focusing on food. Be hungry all the time for the next year. Tape your mouth shut. Put thumb tacks on your dinner table chair. Tie your hands behind your back. Hang a full length mirror in your bathroom, sideways. It's your choice..
  19. Don't eat burgers, fires, chocolate, candy etc.. and don't drink pop. Decrease your caloric intake and be more active.
  20. It is possible to lose 40 pounds in a month but it may require some form of amphetamine. You are not huge to start with so losing 40 pounds may take a little while. Safely you could bank on about 5-10kgs per month, roughly double that for pounds. Stay active but no need to move mountains. Drink at list 2 litres of water daily. Eat three meals per day. Nothing in between. Eat two apples per day. Have approximately 100-150grams total of lean protein, chicken, beef, ham, pork, fish, etc. and about the same in vegetables for each meal. Stay off cereals, rice, starch and breads other than dark rye breads or soy & linseed. Don't drink any softdrink, sports drink etc. And steer well clear of alcohol, although I presume in the 7th grade you won't be drinking too much of that. Most people will make the mistake of not eating enough when they are trying to lose weight. At your age try not to focus too much on the number and just get comfortable within your body. Any weight loss will net significant health benefits. Act now and adopt a healthy eating plan and you will save yourself from many dietary related diseases. You should see your doctor before embarking on any weight loss regime. Good Luck.
  21. Weight loss is never a "quick fix". Now is the perfect time for you to learn to eat right and start a good habit for the rest of your life! Steer clear of sweets and soda, drink water instead! Eat food to help your body be healthy, not sugary snacks, grab an apple instead! You shouldn't lose more than 2-3 pounds per week for good health. Losing weight slowly helps to keep it off as well. Good health to ya!
  22. this will work if you stick with it... but you can't cheat remember- no pain, no gain...... wake up early and go running, it helps to run with someone else to keep you motivated... but if you're going to be running by yourself then give it all you've got.. and if you have a school with a running track near, use that (better on your knees and hips)... make sure you stretch for 10-15 mins before and after running... and when you are done, do as many push ups as you can keeping your legs and back straight... and do situps... and crosses, laying on your back touching your right elbow to your left knee and then your left elbow on your right knee... eat a breakfast at the same time everyday... i would suggest something like 2 pieces of dry whole wheat toast, fat free plain yogurt, an apple or bananna, and 2 cups of spring water... ah, now after about 30-45 mins of letting your food digest, do as many pushups as you can do.. lunch, have a mixed greens salad with grilled chicken or salmon in it... use only a teaspoon or two of an oil and vinegar dressing... no ranch or 1000 island.. and a couple slices of whole wheat toast.. and of course 2 big cups of spring water... and just like breakfast you eat lunch at the same time everyday... (you have to be on a schedule) ok, guess what... after 30-45 mins do as many push ups and sit ups as you can... give it all you've got.. take a nap between lunch and dinner for 30min-hour. for dinner you need nothing heavy... no cream soups, no fatty double bacon burgers, no chicken fried steaks or milkshakes... Eat a boneless skinless chicken breast, no fatty or sugary sauces on it... some steamed veggies.. and a sweet potato.. and this time, yep, you need 3 cups of spring water... yum, water, its so good!!!! ok, now its an hour to an hour and a half after dinner... now you're going to work your ams, shoulders, chest, back, abs, and legs... a few minutes on each, nothing to horrible right, but you will be sweating!! and of course you will need to stretch for 10-15 mins, before and after this everyday... (look online for easy excercises/stretches you can do at home with no weights involved... there's a ton of them) and if you have access to a pool, i would suggest swimming laps a few times a week!! now drink another cup or spring water while you sit back and think how good you're going to look this year in school... because a positive mental attitude plays a major role in this "basic training" you'll be putting yourself through.... I PROMISE YOU!! DO THIS EVERYDAY, KEEP A POSITIVE ATTITUDE, DO NOT EAT SWEETS, AND EAT YOUR MEALS AT THE EXACT SAME TIME EVERYDAY... YOU WILL NOTICE A DIFFERENCE IN A WEEK, AND BY THE TIME SCHOOL STARTS YOU'LL FEEL GREAT... BUT DON'T STOP THEN, STAY ACTIVE AND HEALTHY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!! ***whatever you decide to do, do not starve yourself.... you will lose weight, but you will be losing muscle not fat... ENJOY BEING HAPPY AND HEALTHY!!! .
  23. Eat healthily with lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs and exercise, you will not have problem losing some fats and weight. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year. Details such as meals, recipes, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog Xiaozhen
  24. I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurities come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://thebestcleansingdiet.com
