How can I lose 30 pounds by September ?
Hi , I am 14 , 5'1" and weigh 150 pounds . I know . I really want to lose 30 pounds by the time school starts again , since I will be going to a private high school . I at least want to look good in my uniform ! I also want to be healthy . So please help me !

- find a diet that you like and that's easy to follow, make a workout schedule, get into good health habits. i think you can do it, you'd only have to lose around 6 lbs a month and if you run a lot, the weight will come right off. good luck!
- Detox for a month, live on meat and salad/vegetables for the rest of the time leading up to September. No carbs!!! Also exercise for an hour 5 times a week.
- Oh my gosh!! I finally met someone with the same problem as me!! YAY! I might be starting the South Beach Diet which is a low-carb diet that lets you eat healthy fats and stuff. You should look more on that. Or Weight Watchers! Good luck! :)
- Stop eating foods that are white-bread, pasta-etc... They pack on the pounds.
- Eat and puke, eat and puke. Just kidding. Just eat healthy, fruits and veggies and baked meat. Exercise and such.
- first thing i want ot say is that at your age, just make it a life long process of fitness, not just to look good for school and then gain it back - that is bad for your body. any exercise you do i would check first with your doctor to make sure it is ok, but this is what i would recomend. do cardio - work yourself up little by little to 45 minutes to an hour, every other day. fad diets dont work. you just need to change your eating habits. no more junk food or fast food - i mean once in a while won't kill you especilly at your age, but you should get in the habit of not eating it often or if you can completely cut it out, m re power to you, but pretty much eliminate it from your diet. start to eat more grilled and even baked food. chicken, fish, turkey - all good for you, but dont eat deli turkey, it is filled with salt, get a "real" turkey, or a chicken to put in the oven. also, don't eat things with a lot of salt, as I mentioned, deli tukey and fatty meats, soda, condiments - ketchup is a killer - these things all have alot of salt. look out for that. salt intake, or at least too much of it will cause water weight. salt keeps water in the body. also, don't have too many starches or sugars...they metabolize and if unused turn into fat. lastly, don't eat within 3 hours of bedtime. look on this site and find out what your daily nutritional needs are and good luck! http://www.hpathy.com/healthtools/calori...
