how can i lose 30 pounds over a 2 month period?

i need to lose around 30 pounds by april. i broke my knee and its healing rite now and i cant really do any cardio. so what should i do to lose weight? im 6'3 and 220 pounds and i have to get back to about 190 for football this year. im also lactose intolerant so that takes out most of the bad things like candys and chocolate. im also eating 2 meals a day, is that a problem?

  1. With a knee injury there is not much you can do short of surgery to lose 30pounds in 2months. You will have to be perfect with your foods to lose 15pounds in 2 months. Check your pain meds(if you are on any) sometimes they cause weight loss. Eat lean protein, veggies and fruits. Cut the carbs to 1serving a day, lose the sugary drinks and try to be as active as you can.

  6. You're on crutches I suppose? This sounds dangerous, but climb stairs with crutches. My left ankle has been injured 5 times, and every time, I climb stairs with my crutches. It works out the muscles in your arms. Other than that, theres not much else you can do. Eat loss and more often to speed up your metabolism.
