Trying to lose 30 pounds, can I still eat white rice in small portions?
Mostly, I eat whole grains. I even eat brown rice, too. But brown rice doesn't work with everything I want to eat. Is it ok to still eat white, long grain rice sometimes? Not extraordinary portions but a little? And about 2-4 times a week? I'm trying to lose 30 pounds and tone/tighten up. Ginette, how does your program work? Inna- that is comforting to hear considering that rice is like a staple.

- You sure can. My clients eat white rice 2 to 4 times every week and still lose 2 to 3 pounds per week. I give them daily menus and all they have to do is eat. Sometimes light cardio is included like walking or spinning for 20 to 30 minutes. High protein, low carb, lots of fruit, veggies and plenty of water. You can lose 30 pounds in 12 weeks on my program.
- yea thats ok just dont put stuff like butter or salt and pepper in the white rice.
- Sure you can! Rice is not like bread its way differend! Some people say that in a diet you should eat rice! Iam now in a diet and i don't really eat rice but i used to and i still losed 4 pounds a week! I don't know maybe you should ask a friend! Good Luck!
- try weight watchers. you can eat whatever you want on the point system, but in proportion. and you have weekly 'bonus' points and activity points. this system teaches you a new lifestyle also so you wont gain the weight back as soon as you go off the diet
