Needs to lose 30 pounds in one month to join military?
My husband needs to join the military no later than a month from now in order to be home when our 2nd child is due. The down side, he has to lose 30 pounds. He has tried this 3 day diet, correctly, and lost a little over 5 pounds. Is their any diet he can do to lose weight rapidly? He's says it doesn't matter if its healthy now because after he joins he will eat normal. He has also tried eating alot of tuna, and now the smell of it makes him sick.

- An all water and Celery diet!!!! Celery takes more calories to digest it then it does to eat it!
- This is kind of a fast loss, but if you are young, your skin should have enough elasticity to keep up with the weight loss rate. Be sure to exercise daily. I have never had a successful diet without regular exercise. My most successful diet was when I rode my bike 10 miles a day. I just cut out any excess fat and sugar, added more vegetables and fruits. Cut out most of the red meat and go for chicken (white meat, skinless) and fish. Bake or broil them instead of frying. There are some really good spice mixtures out there now. You can spray butter flavored Pam on and under your chicken or fish and sprinkle with your spices. I am using Lawry's Perfect Blend for Fish and Seafood on both fish and chicken. Then bake or broil them. I fixed chicken breasts like this for my son who never diets and he loved them. Also use Butter Buds to flavor your canned veggies instead of butter or margarine. And eat salads. Don't put a lot of cheese and dressing on them. Have them be mostly veggies. Your exercise doesn't have to be bike riding, it can be swimming, walking, or whatever you like to do that burns calories. Good luck!
- if you can afford it have him go for a colonic. its like 135 dollars but it cleans your whole colon out. it can take out anywhere from 7 to 22 pounds of crap just built in your system. even if you dont loose 22 pounds just 7 your colon is clean and as long as he eats healthy crap it will go through him faster. if not try laxitives. i went through the same thing for the military not 30 pounds but some weight. if hes up for it also hit up a suana or a steam room. if moneys tight. go in the shower on fully hot close the door or curtain and sit it there with a bottle of water sipping it. this will help him loose water weight. also have him go for runs in layers to sweat out water weight as well. but i know that as long as your husband is in good enough shape he can do the stairs test. if your over weight they will bring out this set of step up stairs. he has to go up and down them for like 5 minutes with out stoping. have him train for that incase he doesnt make the cut off. he should do that at meps. have him bring that up to his recruiter. any more questions you can email me.
