what is the best way to lose 20 pounds?
besides my social life, i have school, practice, and homework. im currently trying to lose 20 pounds within the next 2 and a half months. i recently signed up for a gym membership. what are the best ways to lose this weight? is it better to eat before or after excerise? what is the better chose of equipment to use while at the gym? how can i lose the weight fast,easily, and effectivly?

- u could probably try for exercising everyday. its best to combine cardio like walking/jogging/swimming and weight lifting (cardio burns calories fastest but weight lifting builds muscle which will really help u in the long run) so alternate between days. cardio one day and weight lifting the next. aim for30-60mins a day. let one day a week be your "rest" day though. eating a meal after exercising is better, but its a good idea to grab a little (but healthy) snack before hand for some energy. avoid drinking milk before exercising it can upset ur stomach and/or make u cramp up. drink plenty of water as well, and try to eat as healthy as you can. lots of veggies and fruits, and meat (try for lowfat) for protien to build muscle. more muscle equals more calories that can be burned even when you're not exercising. dont forget to stretch the muscles u worked and ice anything that gets sore. hope this helps. good luck!
- You should actually eat before and after your workout. Always eat a small pre-workout meal consisting of some low glycemic carbs and a quality protein.
