How to lose 20 pounds in 2 months?
I am in my teens. I have made it my new years resolution to lose 20 pounds by March 1st, starting on January 1st. I want to know if anyone has any exercise or dieting tips that I can use to achieve this goal. It would be mean a lot to me.

- Dear resolute, every time I try this weight-loss plan it works wonders! This is it: eat as much as you can, the entire day: Salad (fat-free dressing only), vegetables (steamed), fruits (fresh and raw), Yogurt (fat and sugar free), low fat cheese, lean meats. + 3 servings of low fat and low sugar whole-grain carbs (each serving is one slice of bread or 1 muffin or one cup of steamed rice or pasta) You will not starve. Actually, you will get sick of eating so much. And you will lose crazy pounds. I used to lose two to four pounds a week with this diet when I was in my teens, and the pounds take years to get back, because you get used to a much better lifestyle when eating like this! Good luck!
- This is not a realistic goal especially for someone in their teens. You need to be very careful losing 20 pounds in two months. i don't know how much you weigh but it would be good to lose the weight slowly and safely. There are so many gimmicks out there that promise you the moon. You can lose any amount of weight you want but always do it safely. Whatever program you choose make sure you are getting all the nutrition your body needs. If you follow a sound program you will get great results. And remember, always check with a physician before starting a weight loss program.
- 1. Keep a food journal. It really works wonders. 2. As obvious as it sounds, don't stand near the food at parties. Make the effort, and you'll find you eat less. 3. Walk around the mall three times before you start shopping. 4. Try 2 weeks without sweets. It's amazing how your cravings vanish. 5. Eat more fruit. A person who gets enough fruit in his diet doesn't have a raging sweet tooth. 6. Brush your teeth right after dinner to remind you: No more food. 7. Drink alot of water throughout the day. 6. Follow the Chinese saying: "Eat until you are eight-tenths full." 7. Get calories from foods you chew, not beverages. Have fresh fruit instead of fruit juice. 8. See what you eat. Plate your food instead of eating out of the jar or bag. 9. See what you eat. Plate your food instead of eating out of the jar or bag. 10. Really hate veggies? Relax. If you love fruits, eat plenty of them; they are just as healthy (especially colorful ones such as oranges, mangoes, and melons).
