- Sorry but this is your body telling you that this is your ideal weight. For someone 5'8' 140 is ideal!
- You are the right weight for your height. Stop trying to lose weight. If you want to tone up, then do some weights and exercise, but you have absolutely no need to lose any weight whatsoever. PS I am your height and around your weight. I look and feel great. Years ago (when I was younger) I was 115 pounds and was so skinny that everyone thought I was anorexic. I did not look good, nor did men like my body very much. Stop pressuring yourself to look like an anorexic model. You are fine just the way you are.
- 5'8 139 sounds like a hot body to me. i'd just stay the way you are
- I agree with Professor- you really don't need to lose more- you'll then be underweight
- well sounds to me that your at your ideal weight,to lose that much would be a very unhealthy thing to do. at the risk of sounding patronising maybe your problem is self image rather than diet or actual body shape
- You will not be able to lose this weight because you are already underweight. From your description of you eating habits, it sounds like you may be anorexic. I suggest you read some of the articles about Terri Shiavo, you can find them by doing a google search. She was also anorexic.
- I think the only way your gonna lose 15 lbs is if you chop off a limb. Seriously doesn't sound like ya need to. I don't understand where women get the idea that the skinner you are the prettier you are. It doesn't work that way... your fine.
- Family Doctor's Experience: Most nutritionists now recommend eating 5 smaller meals spaced throughout the day rather that fewer, larger ones. By doing this, your body will burn calories at a steadier pace, and you won't experience the dip in blood sugar that can cause fatigue and overeating. Mild exercise over a long period will effectivley reduce your weight and watch what you eat (more healthy, and less junk).
- You aren't burning more calories than you consume. What you are doing now is just going to keep you at 139 pounds.
