How do I lose 10 pounds in a month and 9 days?
I'm a girl, I'm 14, I'm 4' 11'', I weigh 130 pounds, and I've been a vegitarian all my life. I need help cause in two months I'm going to a convention soon and I'll be cosplay, and to cosplay I'll definatly need to lose weight. (btw, cosplaying is basicly dressup like a character, to the people who don't know what cosplaying is) Okay, maybe not exactly 10 pounds but that is my goal.

- crash dieting will not work. you can increase your water intake, cut down on your starches and keep your greens going. you also need to take b12 if you are vegetarian because meats do supply us with nutrients the body needs. my grandmother was a vegetarian and she had a bone disorder where she had to drink meat broths and add meat to her diet. you should not lose more than 2.5 lbs per week and if you starve yourself, you will just retain any weight you have. eating smaller meals 5 times a day and not eating after 5:30 in the evening will help with maybe a walk in the evening to keep you metabolism going. good luck.
- drink a lot of water, do sports that will make u sweat a lot like soccer or running avoid eating cakes, bread, candies thats what i did long time ago and it worked.
- Well to start when your young being a vegitarian can effect your weight. Just watch what you eat and exersise. It will help eventully. If you work hard you might lose those pounds.(also even if its gross if you spit out spit everytime its in your mouth it can make you lose like 3 pounds in a week or two.
- A reasonable weight loss rate is 1.5 pounds per week. Eat 200 to 300 calories less a day, do 200 to 300 calories of exercise at least 3 times a week, and you can manage that. Also, it's spelled "vegetarian".
- It's not that hard--all you need to do is excercise, but you might need something a bit...intense is you want to lose weight fast. Try doing a lot of sit-ups, push-ups, lifting weights, and walking/jogging. It'll help, but you can't just do the easy stuff. You have to push yourself to the limit and beyond. (Don't kill yourself with effort, but still try as hard as you can) You have to also eat healthy, and that might be hard for a vegetarian, but still try to eat fruits and vegetables (and grains, ect) that make up for your lack of meat. If you want to actually lose the weight, then try that, but if it's actually LOOKING different, you might notice a change without dropping pounds. I should know--I dropped around 30 pounds (I planned to lose way more), but I lost more in size than in actual pounds.

Try to count the calories you eat and be careful.. i tend to drink 2l itres of coke without realizing it.. remember gaining calories is very easy!!! dont let them slip by you.. be strict and firm with your diet and you WILL progress
- hey ~ :) personally, ive always done this when i feel fat on certain days. basically, just eat 2 meals a day - lunch & dinner ! and wake up later like in the morning, so that u can skip the breakfast part . i guarantee you can lose at least a few pound within 3 weeks... (:
- I am also a vegetarian and have previously tried South Beach Diet to lose weight. The first two weeks you can lose up to 14 pounds they claim, and I did lose that much. Otherwise, eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and stay away from cheese, ice cream, sweets - all the things that are unhealthy but still vegetarian :) Work out as much as you can and drink a lot of water. I eat eggs still as a vegetarian and have a hard boiled egg everyday for lunch with a salad. This helps to give me protein while still eating low calorie and healthy. Grapefruit is another food that increases your metabolism, so try eating that for breakfast.
