Lose pounds and inches

could I lose 5 pounds in one day by just eatting 2-3 fruits?

Is it possible for me to lose 5 pounds in one day by just eatting 2-3 fruits and nothing else? I plan to use the elliptical machine a lot to lose the weight.

  2. Sorry, but it's impossible. With exsessive exercise/healthy eating, it would be possible for you to lose it within a week. But it would be rather unhealthy and I would suggest you never try it again.

  4. no its not possible to eat 2-3 fruits and loose 5 pounds in one day, if it was trust me i'd be doing that. but the elliptical machine is good, but your not gonna loose 5 pounds in one day.
  5. Not at all likely but we are all different. Eating nothing but fruit isn't too good unless it's only one day. You need protein also and a little fat and a little carby probably.
  6. idk about 5 whole pounds. To even be close to that goal, eat only one fruit in the early morning (actually, something like celery would be best) to start your metabolism for the day, then drink ice water to keep metabolizing w/ the calories. And you'd have to be on that elliptical practically all day. If you were to do this method, I'd say it'd take probably 3 days if you did that religiously, day in day out.
  7. Possibly; but after those fruits that are LOADED with sugars; you need to workout for at least 4 hours. Hard ass Cardio; and Pilate's. i JUST did 3 hours of Cardio .. I'm sweating bullets right now .. but i lost 2 pounds today total .. Not much, but it was worth it.
  8. No that is not good for you..you should be eating every 2-3 hours (heathy food) . When you don't eat very much in a day you'r body thinks you are starving you'rself and stores fat. It's not right to lose 4 pounds in 1 day. Try eating lots of salad/veggies and fish. Hope I helped!
  9. Yes, it is possible BUT it is STUPID and VERY dangerous. The weight you would lose that fast would not be fat, it would be WATER. That just makes you dehydrated. For fat loss you will need to be patient. 1.5 to 2 pounds a week is considered fast weight loss. For 5 pounds better plan on 3 weeks. Use that elliptical for 30-45 min each day (about 500 calories) and keep your eating habits the same, you can lose the weight. Do the math. Each pound of fat is 3500 calories of stored energy. If you use an extra 500 calories of energy each day for 7 days that is 1 pound of fat used up.

Most people eat 1500 to 2000 calories a day, so if you ate nothing you would only reduce calories by 2000. High Intensity exercise like running burns about 500 calories an hour, so even if you exercised full tilt for 24 hours, you could not lose 5 pounds.
