  1. Don't run. Do step climber, or elliptical. Much better. And always do your weight training before your cardio. And losing 5 pounds a week is not healthy. 2 or 3 at the very most a week is fine.
  2. id say 15 minutes which is more than a mile i was told walking for 14 minutes is a mile and if u run thats probably 2 miles but start off slowly maybe start at 5 minutes a day and in crease a minute by day until you reach 15 good luck
  3. 5 pounds a week? youre nuts! run as fast as you can for a couple minutes. then power walk for a couple minutes, and do it again. repeat until near vomiting. that'll get you there. if you actually do that, stay hydrated, but dont chug water before or after the run, you'd regret it
  4. Geezzz... what a bunch of nonsense. You don't have to kill yourself exercising. Don't plan on losing more than four pounds a week, though... that's extremely difficult. Just be patient and do it properly. Exercising like crazy is a darn good way to burn yourself out. It's much easier to do something fun and entertaining than pure, boring cardio. I walk about 5 to 7 miles a day in an area that is fun to walk in. That only burns about 300 calories, however. If you want to really lose weight, watch your calorie intake. Keep it under 1800. Eat mostly raw fruits and vegetables, with a little fish or chicken breast for some quality protein. Getting the proper nutrition while dieting and exercising is vital toward boosting your metabolism and keeping your energy level up. Take a little green tea every morning to help burn the fat. Avoiding refined carbs and animal fats is a really good idea too. Take it from me... I lost an average of 15 pounds a month for two months, in the beginning. I started at 215 in August, went to 180 in two months, then slowly settled in to my ideal of 160 by the end of November. Since then, my blood sugar has stabilized and I no longer have to take medication for my diabetes. I've been studying this stuff for years and have finally applied the right formula.... It works. Here's my blog: Here’s all you need to lose weight all over, look good, and get really healthy. First, you have to realize there is no quick, long lasting weight loss plan or pill that is going to do the trick. It’s purely mental. You have to learn to “Eat to live, don’t live to eat”. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? It is, if you understand that you are going to be reprogramming how you think about eating for the next few weeks. Old habits die hard, right? Not really. You get rid of bad habits by replacing them with good habits. If you learn to count your calories, keep calorie intake lower than output, exercise moderately, and eat only healthy food, you will lose weight. That’s a fact. All it takes is repetition. All success stories have this in common: The successful folks among us know how to be patient, persistent, and consistent. Set a goal, write it down, and stick with it. The benefits of feeling good will outweigh any sense of sacrifice you might feel about having to push away that cake and ice cream.
