How long will it take me to lose 5 pounds?
Im 13 years old. 5'5", and about 120 pounds. I walk a mile everyday and play DDR for about an hour a day. I eat healthy, like Special K for breakfast. piece of turkey and provolone chese on wheat bread. and whatever my mom makes for supper, but a small portion of it. I want to lose 5 pounds, how long will it take me?

- wel.. depends.. on how ya work out.. try walkin at 7kmphr in de tredmill and ya can lose 5 pounds in an hour....
- Gosh your weight already sounds pretty good to me. But anyway. You're doing plenty of exercise and not eating many calories. You'll lose 5lbs in 2-4 weeks I'd say. Make sure you don't restrict your calories too much though, you need them to grow taller and to keep your metabolism high!
- if you do it health by just subtracting bad fats and sugary foods and drinks prob and increase your exersie. around three weeks to a month.
- i lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks so i'd say it would take you about 10 days... if you drink green tea and exercise (i prefer indoor cycling or swimming) you should be fine. you eat healthy but if you want to lose weight, you should eat 5-6 small meals daily, not only 3. oh and drink water. good luck :-)
- keep it up and you could lose 5 pounds in two weeks, i lost 80 pounds in 4months so 5 is nothing, while your walking burst out into a sprint and then walk again , then a couple of minutes later run as hard as you can then walk again until you have complted your mile, try to get yourself conditioned to running a mile without stopping, walking is good but if you want to lose fat you got to go harder than that also, go for 2 miles.
