Lose pounds and inches

How can a 14 year old girl lose 5 pounds ?

I weight 130 , my height is 5'6, and my BMI is 21 ( which is normal ). I want to lose 5 pounds for sports so I will be faster. I would like to lose 5 in one week. Not this but next week. Thanks Also is there a chart that tell you how a 14 y/o who's 5'6 suppose to weight beside the BMI chart ?

  10. You wont loose 5 pds in a week. Just take it slow and eat healthy like 4 meals a day. ( breakfast lunch snack and dinner) and exercise and you should be fine

  16. Get yourself a good diet. Eat less fats. Exercise more often, drink more water, eat more fruits and vegetables. Do some jogging every morning. But I think you're fine baby :).

  18. Don't worry about losing weight. Just eat a healthy diet and train hard to become faster. Make that your focus, train all you can at your sport and you'll soon notice an improvement in your speed. You may lose weight as a side effect of these actions but at 14 that should not be at the forefront of your mind.

  20. if u have a treadmill or exercise bike available to u, walk on it for 20-30 everyday for one week. dont eat junk food, stick to fruits,veggies, and dont drink soda, drink water,milk, (low fat milk or reg. whtever u prefer). or, instead of using a treadmil or exercise bike, walk around the block 4 a total of 20 or 30 min. hope this helps and good luck! p.s. DONT take weight loss pills - @ least @ ur age. they can sumtimes b dangerous. just try to loose ur weight naturally - that is the best way! =]
  21. Don't drink soda's or high sugar drinks, no more snacking in between meals. Drink only water though out the day. Eat nothing but protein, veggies and low carbohydrate fruits like all types of berries. Don't allow yourself to sit down too much. Try to keep busy doing things. That should help.
  22. To be honest losing 5 lbs in one week is not healthy. Also, when you lose weight that fast it is only water weight and you will gain it back very quickly. To lose weight and actually keep it off you need to lose it in a healthy way and healthy speed. At 14 and since your BMI is normal the best/safest way for you to lose the weight would just be to increase your activity. Walk, rollerblade, run...just stay active!!
  23. well most kids from age 10-14 need about 2,000 calories a day so this is what you need to do but you may need about 3,000 so this is what ur gonna do and i do this and so does carrie underwood. you are gonna get a notebook and write doen what you had to eat and write down how many calories you had. then after that you need to add it all up and then try not to get over 3,000 if you do probabley 500 over is ok but not many more!
  24. I dont think you need to do that, since your so young but my aunt went on this new diet it is called Dr. Siegals cookie diet and lost 5 pounds in one week, but its very expensive. You can find them at the mall at the Kiosks(the places that sell things with the little stands)
  25. Losing five pounds won't make you faster, it will just mean you weigh five pounds less. Being physically and cardiovascularly fit can make you faster and you will stronger too. The amount of wieght that is healthy to lose in a week is one pound. SO, really, if you want to lose 5 pounds it will take you 5 weeks for it to be healthy. To be even more healthy you can exercise at least an housr a day, eat lots of healthy foods, and drink plenty of water.
  26. a loss of 5 lb may make you faster --carrying less weight but if you run n eat sensibly ,you will be fitter n faster .It`s the fitness for a particular activity --in ur case running --get on the trainers gal but don`t overdo it to start.

A really good way to lose pounds or just extra body fat is to stand up more often b.c you burn calories everywhere even when you sleep and sit but you burn more if you stand up... if you just stand as much as you can... but as much as you stand you won't lose 5 pounds in a week... so you can eat more veggies and fruits and dont eat calories or alot of fat... work out too and in the MIDDLE of the day take a jog with PANTS and a SWEATSHIRT b.c more heat makes you sweat and sweat makes you heavier.
