Lose pounds and inches

I am 12 wks. pregnant, and I was hoping to lose inches in my arms for the summer. What is the safest way?

I am not going to do anything to harm my precious baby. I am eating healthy and nutritional foods that you should eat during pregnancy. I was just wondering if it might be possible to lose a few inches in my arms for the summer. Just asking - Thanks!

  1. You can probably lift light hand weights or use resistance bands. But check with your OB first.
  2. very light weights, not heavy at all. 2-5 pounds.
  3. If I were u i would use very light weights and a lot of repetitions. You can curl witch you are familiar with it means you bend your arms forward find a weight that you can do 20-30 times and the other is lift your arm and bend at elbow and lift 20-30 times this works your triceps. which is 3/4 your upper arm. you should always run your program by your doctor first
  4. There is no way to target tone the body's external apperance. Weights and toning would work on the muscle, but the fat on top of the muscle can only be lost by burning more calories than consumed. And there is no way to pick how or where this weight is lost.
