How can I lose 20 pounds?
I am a 22 year old female that is struggling to lose weight. I have very low self-esteem and it is tearing up my marriage! I can't ever keep a steady diet and I LOVE Pepsi! This is ruining me. I am always told that I have gotten fat and it tears me up inside. I have been put on anti-depressants b/c I don't like to even look at myself...PLEASE HELP ME! I just want to be happy again! Any tips?

- Do lots of exercise and eat lots of fruit and veg and don't eat to many fatty foods!
- First, look at yourself and think of all the beautiful things you like. Second to lose weight just eat less, drink water, eat veggies and fruit, and work out. You'll be fine (:
- try exercising and eating healthy foods but don't ever think that you are ugly because everybody is unique and i'm sure you are pretty. I think cutting down on caffeine products is the first step because they contain lots of stuff we find unhealthy. So, have a healthy diet, exercise daily and have fun. You'll be fine.
- Losing 20 pounds is not that hard as long as you are determined to! You can change to a semi-vegitarian diet for a while to reduce meat consumption and fat consumption, plus, eating greens are healthy anyway! You might not lose the fat in a week or so, it might take months. But seeing your body getting slimmer will not only encourage you to continue such healthy habits and will raise your self-esteem and be proud to say that you have self-control. Do not go on a diet where you don't eat for a day. Having a healthy meal will make you lose fat but not lose any valuable nutrients. Greens and veggies. You want them to make most of what is in your plate everymeal. Have little meat but do not completely exclude them. EDIT: Simple excercises can go a long way. Try jogging or even WALKING around the neighborhood every now and then. Trust me, it is better to see yourself reaching your goal slowly as you will feel much much better afterwards!
- get an ab lounge and a treadmill... try eating fruits and veggies
- Start exercising and improving your diet one day at a time.
- I found this on webmd: "In theory, one could drop as much as 20 pounds in a week following a very ambitious eating and exercise plan, devoting more than seven hours per week to rigorous exercise, and under a physician's care like we do on the television program," he says. "Losing weight is a simple mathematical formula: You need to burn more calories than you eat. Experts generally recommend creating a deficit of 500 calories per day through a combination of eating fewer calories and increasing physical activity. Over the course of a week, this should yield a loss of about 1-2 pounds of fat." If you want to lose weight faster, you'll need to eat less and exercise more. Bottom line: 1,050 to 1,200 calories and one hour of exercise a day (but be sure not to dip below this calorie level for safety's sake). On this type of plan, you can expect to lose 3-5 pounds the first week, or more if you weigh over 250 pounds." "When you reduce sodium and cut starches, you reduce fluids and fluid retention, which can result in up to 5 pounds of fluid loss when you get started," When it comes to weight loss, calories count the most, says Dansinger. He recommends cutting back to a daily level of 7 calories per pound of your current body weight (which for a 200-pound person, for example, would be 1,400 calories), but no less than 1,050 calories/day (the lowest level that can be done safely at home). Dietitians more typically recommend 1,200 calories as a daily minimum." "Dansinger advocates a diet that minimizes starches, (even healthy whole grains should be controlled), added sugars, and animal fat from meat and dairy foods. For rapid weight loss, dieters should eat mainly fruits, veggies, egg whites, soy products, skinless poultry breasts, fish, shellfish, nonfat dairy foods, and 95% lean meat." Good luck!!
- some people on here will probably bash me for saying this. I was the same way, almost to a T. told the same thing, but i am not and never was more than 20lbs overweight. i talked to my dr cause it was affecting my school work. well she put me on a low dose of adderall and i tell you what it helped with ALL! gave me confidence, got me off depression meds, i was up beat, had energy, and lost the extra lbs. now this isnt for everyone and maybe not even for you, but talk to your doc. about adderall!
- Well u can do it naturally or with voodoo :D naturally with help it would be this way: take liquid Carb blocker, so u can eat carb with no consequences. Take xenical (Im sure u can find it on line with no prescription u just need a PO.Box to receive it) and green tee pills. The herbalife peach tea is grate to make cellulite smother. And well 30 min of fat bunging on the thread mill. And with voodoo... Well, you need a coconut, a candle, a palm tree. So here goes. Get a small coconut because it would be faster this way get the water out and... Fill it with the first urine of the morning cover the whole with the candle wax, burry the coconut with the wax up next to the palm tree. This will start working when the coconut absorbs the pee and when ur done and have reached ur perfect body get the coconut and brake it. If u don't find this coconut and brake it when u get your perfect weight you may die. But if u buy a small palm and have in your leaving room... You have nothing to fear but a perfect body I almost forgot Endermologie, just make sure they use the ROLL IN yeah u may go with this one. Also Acoustic Wave Therapy some people say its better
- Deondra gave the best answer. Basically, Exercise more, eat less, be active, and over time, you'll see a difference!
