- Why is 8 the magic number? You can drink a lot to flush your body, eat lots of fruits and veggies and do cardio, cardio, cardio every day. You might lose 8 lbs, but this certainly isn't something you can do often; it wouldn't be healthy to lose that quickly on a regular basis.
- Oh my, you certainly don't want to do that. Losing that much weight in such a short amount of time is quite dangerous and there is no way you'll keep the weight off. If you truly want to lose that much weight in one week...well, I can't think of anything else but starving yourself and exercising constantly. Whatever you do, you mustn't do this. Period!
- I used to suffer from anorexia, but even I know that it is very unlikely for a regular person to lose 8 pounds in a week. At one point, I was losing around pound to a pound and a half a day consistently for quite a few days, but not for an entire week. What is it that you need to lose 8 pounds for in such a short amount of time? The first answer, drinking lots of water to flush your system wont do anything. The only way would be to basically stop eating and drinking, however in a weeks time, you wont actually be losing fat. If you did this, you would see a drop in the scale, but it would be water weight that you would be losing, which would show right back up once you drank. This is not something an average person can maintain though- anorexia is a psychological illness remember and not something fad diet. If you continued to do that though, you would also lose muscle, which would not be good because your body would become very inefficient at burning calories. (the more muscle you have, the more calories your body burns, even when you are at rest) and when you inevitable did start eating again, it would be stored as fat until muscle mass was gained back) and it really isn't worth it. It is irrelevant that u tell us you weigh 149 lbs because you don't say how tall you are. 149 gives us no idea of your size.
