  1. Drink a lot of water and run at least 30 minutes a day. I think that should do it.

  3. Change your pace. Slow down at times and then sprint for a few minutes. The constant change in pace burns more calories.
  4. You will have to run enough to burn 3500 calories to lose one pound whick is alot of running,. The best way to lose is slow and steady not by a marathon.
  5. that's not realistic. If you eat lots of sugars and complex carbs you're going to struggle to lose weight, regardless of how much you exercise. Is it possible to lose 5 lbs in 2 weeks? sure. The big question is are you willing to do what it takes to do it? Each pound you want to lose represents a 3500 calorie deficit between what you ingest and what you burn. You're going to need to run approximately 4-5 hours at a pace of approx 12 min miles for each pound you want to lose - so, over the next two weeks you're looking at 20-25 hours of jogging or about 2 hours a day. In addition to that, in order to keep your energy up and replenish your muscles - you need to increase your protein intake [at least 100 g/daily for women, 200 g/daily for men]. Keep your insulin levels stable by skipping all sugar, starch and breads/pastas - eat lots of eggs, chicken, fish, or a little beef with fruit and veggies at each meal [aim for 5-6 meals of 3-400 calories each]. Oh, and absolutely no alcohol. Do this, and yes, your goal is attainable.
